Castle Rock is the northernmost city on the Castle Rock and Pacific. It is one of two cities that can be accessed from
staging, and contains the largest yard on the railroad. The local train servicing the northern cities on the railroad originates
here. Castle Rock is a major engine servicing facility, and is the interchange with the Castle Rock and Pacific line.
The primary industry in Castle Rock is the meat packing facility. There are several work trains that run between Castle Rock
and the meat packing plant, carrying cattle, pigs, meat and byproducts to  the rest of the world. Work internal to the meat
packing plant includes icing the reefers, unloading the stock cars, and loading the products of the facility.
In the future, Castle Rock will have an industrial area containing several rail supply industries.
